1. Footing concreting:
The labor rate of footing concreting will be between INR 500/- to 900/- per CUM.
Let us take the average rate of INR 700/- per CUM.
The labor cost for the concreting of footing
= [total vol. of concrete in CUM × rate/CUM.]
=[0.9 CUM × 700/-]
= INR 630/-

2. Reinforcement:
The labor rate of footing reinforcement work will be between INR 8/- to 14/- per kg.
Let us take the average rate of INR 11/- per kg.
The labor cost of footing reinforcement
= [total wt. of steel in kgs. × labor rate/kg.]
= [ 42.709 kgs. × 11/-]
= INR 469.80/-

3. Formwork:
The labor rate of footing formwork will be between INR 10/- to 16/- per sq ft.
Let us take the average rate of INR 13/- per sq ft.
or INR 140/- per sq m.
The total area of shuttering work for the footing box
= [(area of width side) + (area of length side)]
= [( 2nos. × 1.5m. × 0.3m.) + (2nos. × 2m × 0.3m.)]
=[ (0.9 sq m.) + ( 1.2 sq m.)]
= 2.1 sq m.
The labor cost of footing formwork
= [total area of formwork in sq m. × labor rate/sq m.]
= [ 2.1 sq m. × 140/-]
= INR 294/-
Note:
1. The labor rate is also charged per no. of footing box, depending upon the footing size. But here, the cost is calculated on the surface area basis of a footing box.
The total labor cost of footing
= Cost of [ concreting + reinforcement + formwork]
= [630/- + 469.8/- + 294/-]
= INR 1393.80/-
